Ombra de vin soto el campanil

Under the patronage of the Municipality of Venice and in cooperation with the three Gran Caffè of the Piazza, the Piazza San Marco Association has offered to all attending people, as usual, an "ombra de vin" - or a glass of wine - to celebrate the day dedicated to the patron saint of Venice, San Marco Evangelista, besides the Anniversary of the Liberation. In the special gazebo prepared for the occasion at the foot of the tower, were served more than 3000 glasses of wine to Venetians and tourists.
