Picknicks & naps at Saint Marks on Easter in an overcrowded city

Another 'hot' weekend in Venice; especially around Saint Marks pedestrians 'traffic-jam". Many tourists sitting on stairs for lunch or sort of picknick; someone lying on the floor for a 'nap'. Hard work for police to contain the number of flying dealers of any kind of goods.
