THE ARCHITECTURE BIENNALE DOES NOT FORGET CARLO SCARPA

The Olivetti shop in St Mark’s Square will host the “Scarpa-Viani-Deluigi. Dialogo tra arti. Dialogo tra artisti!” exhibition. So the Square is also taking a leading role in the 2014 Architecture Biennale. The works of the three artists can be seen in the shop, designed by Scarpa in 1958 and now a museum, relating to and cross pollinating one another in a surreal atmosphere. The works of De Luigi, Viani and Scarpa himself are glass pieces, mosaics, bronzes, pictures and photographs, which can be admired until 23 November 2014. Organised by the Venice branch of the FAI and curated by Maura Manzelle, the exhibition will be opened on 6 June.
