THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC SERGIO MATTARELLA IN ST MARK’S SQUARE TOMORROW
The president of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, arrives at Venice’s Marco Polo airport on a scheduled flight tomorrow at 9.30am for his third visit to the city. He will attend a ceremony at the Fenice at 10.30 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Confcommercio. The president will then walk through the city’s calli to the Fondazione Querini Stampalia, where he will visit the library, and then walk to St Mark’s Square, where he will meet Venetians and the numerous tourists who crowd the most beautiful drawing room in the world. The Associazione Piazza San Marco takes the opportunity to very warmly welcome President Mattarella and wish him a pleasant stay in the city.
