Wednesday 4 October the presentation of the ‘new’ Procuratie Vecchie

The Associazione Piazza San Marco had for many years been hoping for the upgrading of the Procuratie Vecchie. The Generali project ‘The Human Safety Net’, which we noted in a previous news item, will now be officially presented on Wednesday 4 October. The new Procuratie Vecchie will be illustrated to guests and journalists on Wednesday afternoon up until the evening dinner for 100 invited guests from all over the world at the Museo Correr, as announced by the Nuova Venezia. The aims of the project, which will be based in St Mark’s Square and focused on developing and promoting culture, scientific research, the social responsibility of businesses and environmental protection, will thus be made official. There will also be space for hosting conferences and exhibitions in the rooms restored and flexibly laid out thanks to the upgrading work financed by Assicurazioni Generali.
